| Dear Sir: The Association of Contracting Plumbers of the City of New York, Inc. and Plumbers Local Union #1 have agreed upon a new Mechanical Equipment and Service ("MES") Division Collective Bargaining Agreement, which includes a wage and fringe benefit package increase of seven dollars ($7.00) for a four (4) year agreement, with an Effective Date of October 1, 2005 and a Termination Date of September 30, 2009. Shown below are brief comments, which describe the new provisions of the “MES” Division Collective Bargaining Agreement with Plumbers Local Union #1. |

1. Effective Date October 1, 2005 - Termination Date September 30, 2009. 2. Total Package of $7.00 over four (4) years. |

- The term "commercial sites", as used in Rule 7, means only those sites that are engaged in "business for profit." Examples of sites that are not commercial sites, include but are not limited to -- not for profit institutions, such as hospitals, colleges, universities, schools, community centers, social service facilities, museums, libraries, government facilities, etc. - The "MES" Agreement allows any "service work" as that term has been historically used in the plumbing industry. |
